Radiography Licensing Requirements & Exam Review

Every state has different requirements for dental assistants. In order to legally operate dental X-ray equipment and perform dental radiographic procedures in Oklahoma, a dental assistant must hold a current permit from the Oklahoma Board of Dentistry (OBD). To obtain a license, one must pass the Dental Assistant National Board (DANB) Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) exam.
